Meet Jason Hancock
Jason brings together two worlds of experience — a professional career in IT management and information security for a Fortune 500 company, and a lifelong passion for hands-on property care and outdoor work.
Before launching Trent Lakes Estate Management, Jason spent over 20 years in the technology industry, leading helpdesk and support teams for a global organization.
There, he developed a deep respect for precision, planning, and confidentiality — values that now guide how he manages every property and client relationship.
“Working in corporate IT taught me the importance of trust, communication, and security. Privacy isn’t just a policy — it’s a responsibility. I carry that same mindset into my property work: clients can expect professionalism, discretion, and genuine care in everything I do.”
Alongside his professional career, Jason has also spent years managing and maintaining his own property and rental cabins, developing a deep appreciation for what it takes to create and care for a private oasis.
That hands-on experience inspired him to return to what he loves most — working outdoors, solving real problems, and helping others protect and enjoy their homes.
He founded Trent Lakes Estate Management to blend the structure and reliability of his IT background with his passion for property management and craftsmanship — offering a premium, detail-driven service for discerning homeowners across Trent Lakes, Bobcaygeon, and Haliburton.

Meet Brian Kennedy
I’m proud to bring a lifetime of hands-on experience to Trent Lakes Estate Management. I grew up on a dairy farm, where early mornings and hard work weren’t just part of the routine — they shaped my work ethic, reliability, and sense of responsibility. Those values still guide every job I take on today.
Over the years, I’ve built a wide range of practical skills across several trades. I am a licensed plumber and an experienced sheet metal worker, with additional strong capabilities in electrical, mechanical, and general property maintenance. I have extensive experience in construction, including log homes, wood framing, brick and block work, masonry, and stone masonry. This background allows me to understand how homes are built, how they function, and how to spot issues before they become costly problems.
I’m also comfortable operating a wide variety of equipment, including tractors, front-end loaders, backhoes, skid steers, tractor trailers, lawn equipment, blowers, weed eaters, and snow machines. Whether the job is big or small, I have the knowledge and hands-on ability to handle it safely and efficiently.
At Trent Lakes Estate Management, I use these skills to provide homeowners with dependable service, detailed inspections, and the peace of mind that their property is being cared for by someone who truly knows what to look for — and how to get things done. My goal is always to protect your investment and provide the highest level of care with honesty, consistency, and respect.
